2022 Alice E. Till Advancement of Women in Pharmaceutical Sciences

The award is named in honor of Alice E. Till, Ph.D., M.B.A., FAAPS, and former AAPS president, whose own efforts to advance women in the pharmaceutical sciences field distinguishes her as a role model for others.

Taylor is the Retter Distinguished Professor of Pharmacy at Purdue University, where her research is currently directed towards improving the oral delivery of poorly soluble anti-tuberculosis drugs.

She has advised and mentored more than two dozen women—undergraduate and graduate students, visiting scientists, and postdoctoral associates—on important career-focused topics. Many women Taylor has mentored have received awards and fellowships that have allowed them to advance in their professional roles, particularly within pharmaceutical companies.
