Research in the Department of Industrial and Physical Pharmacy addresses the formulation, manufacturing and delivery of drugs. In all three areas, the department places an emphasis on pharmaceutical solids. “Pharmaceutical solids” include conventional tablets and capsules as well as novel dosage forms such as nanoparticles and implants.
