The program requires a minimum of 32 credit hours, including completion of six required courses - NUPH 53000 - Applied Nuclear Pharmacy; NUPH 55000 - Introduction to Positron Emission Tomography; NUPH 69000 - Special Problems; NUPH 69600 - Seminar in Nuclear Pharmacy; IPPH 58000 - Physical Chemical Principles; and CHM 60500 - Safety in the Chemistry Laboratory. The graduate advisory committee will work with the individual student to complete the graduate Plan-of-Study (see sample), based on the student's background, experience, and professional objectives. Areas of possible emphasis within the elective choices include: pharmaceutical quality assurance and regulatory affairs; health physics; pharmacy administration ("management"), and analytical, inorganic, or organic chemistry.
